Animal Kingdom

It's been a long time since I've written a review, but I've got an album that you guys will like for sure: The Looking Away by Animal Kingdom. Until last week I had never heard about these guys, but then I saw them supporting Frightened Rabbit in Brussels. I was very pleased by their performance and I had to buy their most recent album, which I don't regret at all, since it is one fine indie record!

Alt-J (∆)

One of the best albums of the recent months: An Awesome Wave by Alt-J (this is a keyboard-combination on Mac to form a ∆). This might come as a surprise since it's the first thing that we've heard from these guys, but their debut album is just amazing. The album is a mixture of folk, R&B-beats, electronic melodies and indie-rock guitar riffs, so they make it really hard for us to put them in a box of a certain genre.

The Horrors

You probably know that The Horrors recently released their third studio album Skying and that it got/gets a lot of attention from all kinds of media (blogs, magasines, papers,...). We think that the album totally is worth the attention 'cause it's a renovating album from a renovating band with a unique sound with influences from the 80's. We give you two toptracks of the album called Endless Blue and Oceans Burning, and the official video for the first single of their album: Still Life.

The Milk Carton Kids

After some nice hip hop songs, we tought it was time for a nice indie song. And we've found a very very nice track, this one is coming from The Milk Carton Kids. Before this song I didn't know them but they blew me away with this nice song. I hope you'll like them to. Enjoy!

Everything Everything

Everything Everything has made a new music video for their forthcoming single Final Form. It's a catchy song white beautiful falsettos. The band has not confirmed anything about a new record or EP so we think we'll have to wait a few months to hear something of these guys again, but Final Form is a great song and promising if they'd record some new stuff.

The Joy Formidable

The Joy Formidable finally released their album this week, it took these guys nearly two years to produce a real debut album. They had released the single Whirring in April 2009 and now the album is finally in stores and is calledThe Big Roar.
