#1 Belgian Tuesdays

The intent of "Belgian Tuesdays" is to put a Belgian or Pseudo Belgian band in the spotlights. The first band to appear in this section is Puggy. Although the band consists of a French bassist, a Swedisch drummer and an English vocalist, they call themselves Belgian because they met at the Jazz school in Brussels.

Young Empires - Rain Of Gold

Young Empires is a feel good indie band coming from Toronto. Their first single Rain of Gold is pure magic. The upbeat rhythm makes you feel happy right from the start. I just love them, especially because they use rather rare instruments like a pan-flute. These guys sound like Cut Copy back in the days, and that's something we can only encourage. Enjoy.

Wintersleep

Cold War Kids

Not long ago they released a new album called 'Mine is yours'. It is the best album I've heard in 2011. I love the voice of Nathan Willett and his lyrics. The song you hear below is called Broken Open, one of the outsiders on the album. You have more known numbers like 'Royal Blue', 'Mine is yours' and 'Louder than ever'. But I'm sure this track is equal to these numbers.

It's a really good album so go and get it!
